How XP Works
Every learning activity on SubLearn rewards you with XP:
Video Activities
- Watching Videos: 10-50 XP based on length and completion percentage
- Watching with Subtitles Off: +20% XP bonus
- Clicking & Saving Words: +2 XP per word
- Taking Notes: +10 XP
- Completing Video Quiz: 20-40 XP based on accuracy
Exercises
- Sentence Builder: 5-10 XP per sentence
- Matching Pairs: 20-50 XP per game
- Dictation: 15-30 XP per sentence
- Conversation Practice: 30-60 XP per conversation
- Shadowing: 25-50 XP per session
- Boss Battles: 200-1000 XP for completion
Vocabulary Review
- Flashcard Review: 5 XP per card
- Perfect Session: +50% XP bonus
- Spaced Repetition Streak: +10 XP per day maintained
Bonus XP
- Daily First Activity: +20 XP
- Completing Daily Goal: +50 XP
- Maintaining Streak: +10 XP per day
- Perfect Week: +200 XP (hit goals all 7 days)
- Learning Path Lesson: +50-200 XP upon completion

Focus on quality, not just XP farming. While it's tempting to repeat easy exercises for quick points, challenging yourself with harder content, even if you earn XP slower, leads to faster real-world language gains!
Leveling Up
Level Progression
XP accumulates to increase your overall level:
- Level 1: 0 XP (starting point)
- Level 2: 100 XP
- Level 3: 250 XP
- Level 5: 500 XP
- Level 10: 2,000 XP
- Level 25: 10,000 XP
- Level 50: 50,000 XP
- Level 100: 200,000+ XP
The XP required increases progressively with each level, following an exponential curve.
Level-Up Rewards
When you level up, you receive:
- Congratulations Animation: Celebratory screen with your new level
- Title/Badge: Earn titles like "Novice", "Scholar", "Polyglot"
- Feature Unlocks: Access to premium features at milestone levels
- Power-Ups: Bonus items for exercises
- Leaderboard Recognition: Appear in level-up feeds
Level Tiers & Titles
As you progress, earn prestigious titles:
Novice Tier (Levels 1-10)
- Level 1-3: Beginner
- Level 4-7: Learner
- Level 8-10: Student
Intermediate Tier (Levels 11-25)
- Level 11-15: Apprentice
- Level 16-20: Practitioner
- Level 21-25: Scholar
Advanced Tier (Levels 26-50)
- Level 26-35: Expert
- Level 36-45: Master
- Level 46-50: Virtuoso
Elite Tier (Levels 51+)
- Level 51-75: Polyglot
- Level 76-99: Legend
- Level 100+: Grand Master
Per-Language Levels
XP and levels are tracked separately for each language you study:
- Spanish Level 15, Japanese Level 8, French Level 3, etc.
- Your overall account level is the sum of all language levels
- Focus on one language or spread effort across multiple
- Language-specific leaderboards track progress
XP Multipliers
Streak Multiplier
- 7-day streak: 1.1x XP
- 14-day streak: 1.15x XP
- 30-day streak: 1.25x XP
- 100-day streak: 1.5x XP
- 365-day streak: 2x XP
Premium Multiplier
- Premium subscribers earn 1.5x XP on all activities
- Stacks with streak multipliers
Event Multipliers
- Weekend boosts (1.25x XP)
- Holiday events (2x XP days)
- Challenge periods with special multipliers
