Brought under human control; tamed and kept for agricultural purposes or as pets. Also used humorously to describe a person who enjoys home life and housework.
"Sheep were among the first animals to be domesticated by humans."
Think of a 'DOME' (a house). A 'DOME-sticated' animal lives under your 'dome'.
Calling a circus tiger 'domesticated'. → Calling it 'tame'.
Saying 'domesticated flight'. → Saying 'domestic flight'.
