finally (adverb)
Used to introduce the final point or reason in a series, or to indicate that something has happened after a long period of time or delay. It often conveys a sense of completion, resolution, or sometimes relief.
"I finally managed to fix the leaky faucet after three failed attempts."
Think of the 'FIN' at the end of old movies. 'FIN-ally' means the movie is over.
I lastly finished my work. → I finally finished my work.
