欠落 (noun, suru-verb)
A state where a necessary part or element is missing or has fallen out. It is used for missing data, gaps in memory, or flaws in an argument.
"この報告書には重要なデータが欠落している。"
Imagine a ladder. One rung has 'FALLEN' (落) out, creating a 'LACK' (欠). That gap is the KETSURAKU.
Using it for lost physical items like keys. → Kagi o nakushita / funshitsu shita.
Using it for 'not enough time'. → Jikan ga fusoku shite iru / tarinai.
