plausible (adjective)
Seeming reasonable or probable. It is used to describe an argument or explanation that is believable even if not yet proven.
"Aunque es una teoría nueva, parece una explicación plausible."
Think of 'Plausible' as 'Plus-Able'. If an idea has a 'plus' (it's good) and is 'able' (to be true), it is plausible.
Using 'plausible' for people. → Es una persona creíble.
Pronouncing it like English 'ploh-sible'. → Plau-si-ble (ow sound).
