threw (verb)
Threw is the simple past tense form of the verb "to throw." It means to propel something through the air with force, typically using one's hand and arm, or to cause something to move rapidly or suddenly in a particular direction. It can also describe casting something aside or causing an event to happen.
Remember: 'I threw the ball and it flew.' Both 'threw' and 'flew' are past tense and they rhyme!
