Vinegar is a sour liquid produced by the fermentation of alcohol, typically wine or cider. It is commonly used as a condiment, in salad dressings, for pickling, and in cooking to add flavor.
Think of a 'Vine' that grew 'Ager' (older) and turned sour. Vine-Ager = Vinegar.
Using balsamic vinegar to clean. → Use white distilled vinegar for cleaning.
Saying 'I need a vinegar'. → Say 'I need some vinegar' or 'I need a bottle of vinegar'.
