Global Shortcuts
These work anywhere on SubLearn:
Quick Actions
- Ctrl/Cmd + / — Open AI chat assistant
- Esc — Close modal/dialog
Pro Tip
Press Ctrl/Cmd + / to quickly access the AI chat assistant from anywhere on SubLearn. This is especially useful when you need instant help with Scene Explainer or Phrase Hunter.
Video Player Shortcuts
Standard video player controls work in SubLearn's video player:
Playback Control
- Space — Play/pause
- ← — Rewind
- → — Forward
Speed Control
Use the speed control buttons in the video player to adjust playback speed (0.5x to 2x).
Subtitle Controls
Click on any subtitle to save vocabulary. Use the subtitle controls in the video player to toggle between target language, translation, and dual subtitle modes.
Browser Shortcuts
Standard browser shortcuts work throughout SubLearn:
- Ctrl/Cmd + F — Find in page
- Ctrl/Cmd + + — Zoom in
- Ctrl/Cmd + - — Zoom out
- Ctrl/Cmd + 0 — Reset zoom
- Tab — Navigate between elements
- Shift + Tab — Navigate backwards
Accessibility
SubLearn is fully keyboard navigable for accessibility. Use Tab to move through interactive elements, and Enter or Space to activate buttons and controls.
