Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To tell time in Romanian, use 'Este ora...' followed by the number, remembering that 1 is feminine ('una').
- Use 'Este ora' for singular hours: 'Este ora unu' (It is one o'clock).
- Use 'Sunt orele' for plural hours: 'Sunt orele două' (It is two o'clock).
- Add 'și' for minutes past the hour: 'Este ora două și zece' (It is 2:10).
