Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The Conditional Perfect describes actions that would have happened in the past if a specific condition had been met.
- Use it for past regrets: 'Aș fi mers la petrecere, dar am fost bolnav.'
- Use it in Type 3 conditionals: 'Dacă aș fi știut, aș fi venit.'
- Always combine 'aș fi' with the past participle of the main verb.
Meanings
