Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Bulgarian, short reflexive pronouns like 'se' or 'si' must sit right before the verb, unless the verb is at the sentence start.
- Place 'se'/'si' immediately before the verb: 'Той се мие' (He washes himself).
- If the verb starts the sentence, the pronoun follows: 'Мие се той' (He is washing).
- In negative sentences, the pronoun stays before the verb: 'Той не се мие' (He is not washing).

Rhyme
Before the verb, the 'se' must stay, or else the grammar goes astray!
Story
