Lao uses specific particles like 'pai' (go) and 'ma' (come) after verbs to show the direction of movement.
- Use 'pai' (ໄປ) for movement away from the speaker: 'khao pai' (go in).
- Use 'ma' (ມາ) for movement toward the speaker: 'khao ma' (come in).
- Always place the directional particle immediately after the main verb.
