Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'ska' + infinitive verb to express your future intentions and plans in Swedish.

  • Use 'ska' followed by the base form of the verb: 'Jag ska äta' (I will eat).
  • The verb 'ska' does not change form regardless of the subject: 'Vi ska äta' (We will eat).
