Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Uzbek, 'to be' is not a separate word, but a suffix attached to the end of a noun or adjective.
- Use -man for 'I am' (Men talabaman - I am a student).
- Use -san for 'You are' (Sen talabasan - You are a student).
- Use -miz for 'We are' (Biz talabamiz - We are students).
