Use 'Future in the Past' to describe an action that was future-oriented from the perspective of a past moment.

  • Use the imperfect of 'ща' (щях) + 'да' + present tense verb: 'Щях да отида' (I was going to go).
  • For negative, add 'не' before 'щях': 'Не щях да отида' (I wasn't going to go).
  • For questions, use 'Щеше ли да...?' or 'Щяхте ли да...?'.
