Usage of Aorist for Completed Actions

The Aorist is used for completed actions in the past that happened once or in a sequence.

  • Use it for actions that are finished: 'Прочетох книгата' (I read the book).
  • Use it for a sequence of events: 'Влязох, седнах и пих кафе' (I entered, sat, and drank coffee).
  • It focuses on the result, not the duration: 'Купих хляб' (I bought bread).

The Aorist is a past tense used to describe actions that were completed in the past. It is the primary tense for storytelling and reporting sequential events.
