Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the second-person singular or plural imperative form to give friendly advice or suggestions in Armenian.
- For informal advice, use the 2nd person singular: 'Կարդա՛ գիրքը' (Read the book).
- For polite or plural advice, use the 2nd person plural: 'Կարդացե՛ք գիրքը' (Read the book).
- Add 'մի' before the verb for negative advice: 'Մի՛ գնա' (Don't go).
