Locative with Verbs: To live in
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To say where you live in Armenian, use the noun in the Locative case (ending in -ում) followed by the verb 'to live' (ապրել).
- Add -ում to the noun: Երևան (Yerevan) → Երևանում (in Yerevan).
- Use the verb ապրել (aprel) for 'to live'.
- The verb usually comes at the end of the sentence.
