Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The Pluperfect describes an action completed before another past event, often triggered by adverbs like 'already' or 'before'.
- Use the -el/-ats participle plus the past auxiliary (ei, eir, er...). Example: 'կերել էի' (I had eaten).
- Place 'արդեն' (already) before the verb to emphasize completion. Example: 'Արդեն գնացել էր' (He had already gone).

Meanings
The Pluperfect indicates a past action that was completed prior to another past action or a specific point in time.
