Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The Genitive case shows possession and absence; just add -a for masculine/neuter nouns or -e for feminine nouns.

Possession
Indicates ownership.
“Ovo je torba Ane.”

Absence/Negation
Used with the verb 'nemati' (to not have).
