The L-participle is the engine of the past tense in Serbian, formed by adding -l, -la, -lo, -li, -le, -la to the verb stem.
- Add -o to the masculine singular stem (e.g., raditi -> radio).
- Add -la to the feminine singular stem (e.g., raditi -> radila).
- Add -lo to the neuter singular stem (e.g., raditi -> radilo).
