Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Unlike English, Bulgarian lacks an indefinite article like 'a' or 'an', so you simply use the noun in its base form.
- Use the base noun for indefinite objects: 'Имам кола' (I have a car).
- No article is needed for professions: 'Той е лекар' (He is a doctor).
- Use the base form for general statements: 'Пия кафе' (I drink coffee).
