Use 'da' + indicative to express things that are impossible now or didn't happen in the past.
- Present counterfactual: 'da' + present/past tense + Kondicional I (e.g., Da imam vremena, došao bih).
- Past counterfactual: 'da' + past tense + Kondicional II (e.g., Da sam znao, bio bih došao).

In casual speech, yes. In formal Croatian or exams, you must use 'bih, bi, bi, bismo, biste, bi'.
'Da sam znao' implies you definitely didn't know (past). 'Kad bih znao' is more like 'If I were to know' (potential).
No, that is a double past which doesn't exist in standard Croatian. Use 'Da sam znao'.
The 'barem' adds a sense of 'if only', making the regret stronger.
No, 'bih' is a clitic and cannot be in the first position. Use 'Ja bih...' or 'Bio bih...'.
It is rare in speech but essential for high-level literature and formal writing to distinguish past results.
Use the phrase 'Da nije bilo tebe...'.
No, only when followed by an indicative and paired with a conditional result clause.
