Reporting Commands and Requests
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To report a command, use the infinitive form of the verb after the reporting verb.
- Use 'ասաց, որ' (said that) followed by the subjunctive or infinitive structure.
- For positive commands, use the infinitive: 'Նա ասաց ինձ գալ' (He told me to come).
- For negative commands, use 'չ' + infinitive: 'Նա ասաց ինձ չգալ' (He told me not to come).
Meanings
This grammar is used to relay instructions or requests given by someone else to a third party.
