Common Mistakes
While 'Bună ziua' follows the Adjective + Noun pattern, 'Good night' is an exception and is always 'Noapte bună'.
English speakers often try to translate 'My name is' literally. In Romanian, we use the reflexive verb 'Mă numesc' (I call myself).
Don't confuse 'Thank you' with 'Please'. 'Te rog' is for asking, 'Mulțumesc' is for receiving.
