Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To form the superlative in Bulgarian, simply add the prefix 'най-' to the comparative form of the adjective.
- Add 'най-' to the comparative: 'по-голям' (bigger) becomes 'най-голям' (biggest).
- The prefix 'най-' is always connected with a hyphen to the adjective.
- The adjective must agree in gender and number with the noun it describes.
