Reflexive Usage
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the suffix -in or -n to show the subject is doing the action to themselves.
- Add -in to consonant-ending verbs: жуу (to wash) -> жуын (to wash oneself).
- Add -n to vowel-ending verbs: тарау (to comb) -> таран (to comb oneself).
- The subject and object are the same person, so no extra object marker is needed.
