Thai adjectives like 'a-roy' (delicious) already include the meaning 'to be'. Adding 'pen' is redundant and incorrect.
While 'keu' is sometimes understood, 'pen' is the natural choice for professions and social roles. 'Keu' is for specific identification (e.g., 'That person is the teacher').
