Frequency Adverbs
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Frequency adverbs in Thai usually sit right before the main verb to tell us how often an action happens.
- Place the adverb before the verb: 'ผมมักจะกินข้าว' (I usually eat).
- Use 'ไม่เคย' for 'never' before the verb: 'เขาไม่เคยไป' (He never goes).
- Use 'บ่อย' at the end of the sentence for 'often': 'เขาไปบ่อย' (He goes often).

These words describe the regularity of an action, helping the listener understand the habit or frequency of an event.
