Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'gərəkdir' to express that something is necessary by placing it at the end of a verb in the -məli/-malı form.
- Use the -məli/-malı suffix on the verb: 'Ged-məli-dir' (It is necessary to go).
- The subject is often implied or in the dative case if specifying who must do it.
