Errores comunes

In Armenian, you don't need to repeat the subject and verb when the objects are the same.

Wrong: Ես ուզում եմ սուրճ, և ես ուզում եմ թեյ: (I want coffee, and I want tea.)
Correcto: Ես ուզում եմ սուրճ և թեյ: (I want coffee and tea.)

While possible, it is more natural to put the main clause first in Armenian.

Wrong: Որովհետև անձրև է, ես տանն եմ: (Because it is raining, I am home.)
Correcto: Ես տանն եմ, որովհետև անձրև է: (I am home because it is raining.)

Don't forget the verb! Conjunctions don't replace the need for an action.

Wrong: Ես կամ սուրճ, կամ թեյ: (I either coffee, or tea.)
Correcto: Ես կուզեմ կամ սուրճ, կամ թեյ: (I would like either coffee or tea.)
