Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Bulgarian verbs come in pairs: Imperfective (process) and Perfective (result).
- Use Imperfective for ongoing actions: 'Четях книга' (I was reading a book).
- Use Perfective for completed results: 'Прочетох книгата' (I finished reading the book).
- Most pairs share a root but differ by prefix or suffix: 'пиша' vs 'напиша'.
