Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To compare things in Armenian, simply add 'ավելի' (aveli) before the adjective and use the ablative case (suffix -ից) for the object of comparison.
- Use 'ավելի' + adjective to mean 'more'. Example: 'ավելի մեծ' (taller/bigger).
- Use the suffix '-ից' on the noun you are comparing against. Example: 'քեզնից' (than you).
