जीवन और प्रगति के बारे में पूछना (प्रेजेंट परफेक्ट प्रश्न)
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use Present Perfect questions to bridge the past and present when asking about life experiences or ongoing progress.
- Swap the subject and 'have/has' to form the question: 'Have you...?'
- Always use the past participle (V3) of the main verb, like 'seen' or 'done'.
- Use 'ever' for general life experiences and 'yet' for expected progress.
Overview
Present Perfect Tense एक ऐसा महत्वपूर्ण पुल (bridge) है जो बीते हुए समय (Past) को वर्तमान (Present) से जोड़ता है। जब हम Present Perfect Questions की बात करते हैं, तो हमारा मकसद यह जानना होता है कि क्या कोई काम अब तक पूरा हो चुका है, या किसी व्यक्ति ने अपने जीवन में कोई विशेष अनुभव प्राप्त किया है या नहीं।Past Simple (Did you...?) का उपयोग करते हैं और कब Present Perfect (Have you...?)
- English:
Have you had tea?
Present Perfect का उपयोग करते समय हम किसी निश्चित समय (fixed time) जैसे yesterday, last week, या in 2010 का ज़िक्र नहीं करते। यदि हम समय का ज़िक्र करेंगे, तो वह Past Simple बन जाएगा।Auxiliary Verb (सहायक क्रिया) सबसे पहले आ जाती है: Have (V) you (S) eaten (V) food (O)?Present Perfect में लिंग का क्रिया पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता। यहाँ केवल Subject के वचन (number - singular/plural) के आधार पर Have या Has का चुनाव किया जाता है।Present Perfect Questions बनाने का एक निश्चित ढांचा (structure) होता है। इसमें सबसे पहले Helping Verb (Have/Has) आता है, उसके बाद Subject, और फिर Main Verb की तीसरी फॉर्म जिसे Past Participle (V3) कहा जाता है।Have / Has + Subject + Past Participle (V3) + Object / Rest of the sentence?Have | I, You, We, They | finished | Have you finished the report? |Has | He, She, It, Ravi | seen | Has she seen the new office? |V3 फॉर्म को याद रखना होती है।- Regular Verbs: इनमें सिर्फ
-edजुड़ता है। जैसे:work→worked,ask→asked. - Irregular Verbs: ये पूरी तरह बदल जाते हैं और इन्हें याद करना पड़ता है। जैसे:
go→gone,write→written,eat→eaten.
Ever: इसका मतलब है «कभी भी» (जीवन के अनुभव के लिए)।Have you ever been to Mumbai?(क्या तुम कभी मुंबई गए हो?)Yet: इसका मतलब है «अभी तक» (अपेक्षित कार्यों के लिए)। यह अक्सर वाक्य के अंत में आता है।Has the match started yet?(क्या मैच अभी तक शुरू हुआ है?)Already: इसका मतलब है «पहले ही» (हैरानी जताने के लिए कि काम उम्मीद से जल्दी हो गया)।Have they already left?(क्या वे पहले ही निकल चुके हैं?)Just: इसका मतलब है «अभी-अभी» (बहुत हालिया काम के लिए)।Have you just arrived?(क्या तुम अभी-अभी आए हो?)
Present Perfect Questions का प्रयोग हम मुख्य रूप से चार स्थितियों में करते हैं। इन्हें समझना आपके लिए बहुत ज़रूरी है ताकि आप सही समय पर सही टेंस चुन सकें।Have you ever watched a Marathi movie?(क्या तुमने कभी कोई मराठी फिल्म देखी है?)Has he ever traveled by air?(क्या उसने कभी हवाई जहाज़ से यात्रा की है?)
Have you paid the bill? (क्या तुमने बिल दे दिया है?)। यहाँ बिल देने का काम अतीत में हुआ, लेकिन उसका परिणाम (कि अब हम जा सकते हैं) वर्तमान में है।Have you lost your keys?(क्या तुम्हारी चाबियाँ खो गई हैं?) - परिणाम: अभी तुम्हारे पास चाबियाँ नहीं हैं।
Have you completed the assignment yet?(क्या तुमने अभी तक असाइनमेंट पूरा कर लिया है?)Has the boss reviewed your application?(क्या बॉस ने आपके आवेदन की समीक्षा कर ली है?)
Present Perfect का उपयोग करते हैं।Have you spoken to him today?(क्या तुमने आज उससे बात की है?) - क्योंकि 'आज' अभी खत्म नहीं हुआ है।Has it rained this week?(क्या इस हफ्ते बारिश हुई है?)
Present Perfect के साथ निश्चित समय का उपयोग करना:- Incorrect:
I have seen him yesterday. - Correct:
I saw him yesterday.(Past Simple) - Rule: अगर समय निश्चित है (
yesterday,last night), तोHave/Hasका प्रयोग न करें।
Did और V3 का मिश्रण करना:Did के साथ V3 लगा देते हैं या Have के साथ V2।- Incorrect:
Did you ever been to Goa? - Correct:
Have you ever been to Goa? - Incorrect:
Have you saw that movie? - Correct:
Have you seen that movie?
Been और Gone में भ्रम:Have you been to London?का मतलब है कि आप लंदन जाकर वापस आ चुके हैं (अनुभव)।Has he gone to London?का मतलब है कि वह लंदन गया है और अभी वहीं है (स्थिति)।- Common Mistake: किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति से पूछना जो आपके सामने खड़ा है,
Have you gone to London?यह गलत है, क्योंकि वह तो आपके सामने है, तो 'गया हुआ' कैसे हो सकता है? आपकोbeen toकहना चाहिए।
You finished? बोल देते हैं। हालांकि यह अनौपचारिक रूप से समझ लिया जाता है, लेकिन व्याकरण के अनुसार यह गलत है।- Correct:
Have you finished?
Present Perfect और Past Simple के बीच होता है। इसे इस टेबल के माध्यम से समझें:yesterday, in 2015, ago. |Have/Has + Subject + V3 | Did + Subject + V1 |Have you seen the Taj Mahal? | Did you see the Taj Mahal yesterday? |Are you eating?(क्या तुम अभी खा रहे हो?) - काम अभी चल रहा है।Have you eaten?(क्या तुमने खा लिया है?) - काम खत्म हो चुका है, पर उसका असर (पेट भरा होना) अभी है।
Have you...? वाले सवाल में yesterday का इस्तेमाल कर सकता हूँ?Present Perfect का समय के साथ 'तलाक' हो चुका है। अगर आप yesterday, last week, या two hours ago जैसे शब्दों का इस्तेमाल करना चाहते हैं, तो आपको Did you...? (Past Simple) का ही उपयोग करना होगा।Have और Has में से किसे चुनना है, यह कैसे याद रखें?He, She, It और किसी भी एक नाम (Singular) के साथ Has लगाएँ। बाकी सब (I, You, We, They और Plural) के साथ Have लगाएँ।I और You हमेशा Have की टीम में रहते हैं। Have you got...? और Have you had...? एक ही हैं?Have you got...? का मतलब है «क्या तुम्हारे पास (कब्ज़े में) कुछ है?» (जैसे: Have you got a pen?)। जबकि Have you had...? का मतलब अक्सर खाने या अनुभव से होता है (जैसे: Have you had lunch?)।Present Perfect Questions पूछना केवल ग्रामर का खेल नहीं है, बल्कि यह सामने वाले के साथ एक गहरा संबंध बनाने का तरीका है। जब आप पूछते हैं, Have you seen this? तो आप केवल जानकारी नहीं ले रहे, बल्कि उस अनुभव को साझा कर रहे हैं। अभ्यास के लिए, आज ही अपने किसी दोस्त से कम से कम 5 सवाल Have you...? का उपयोग करके पूछें। याद रखें, ग्रामर सीखने का सबसे अच्छा तरीका उसे अपनी रोज़मर्रा की बातचीत (जैसे क्रिकेट की चर्चा या ऑफिस की गपशप) में शामिल करना है।2. Smart Tips
Stop! If you use those words, you must switch to 'Did you...?' instead of 'Have you...?'
Use 'Have you seen...?' if it's still in theaters or relevant, but 'Did you see...?' if you are talking about a specific time you both were at the cinema.
Add 'ever' to your questions about experiences. It sounds less like an interrogation and more like a friendly inquiry.
Put 'yet' at the very end. It signals that you expect the task to be done soon.

सांस्कृतिक नोट्स
British speakers use the Present Perfect much more frequently than Americans, especially for recent actions with 'just' or 'yet'.
Americans often substitute the Past Simple for the Present Perfect in informal speech. 'Did you eat yet?' is very common in the US, whereas 'Have you eaten yet?' is more standard in the UK.
In global business, using the Present Perfect is seen as more professional and less 'blaming' than the Past Simple when checking on status.
The Present Perfect developed in Germanic languages as a way to express the 'resultative' state of an action.

अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले सवाल (8)
No. You cannot use specific past time markers with the Present Perfect. Use the Past Simple instead: `Did you see him yesterday?`.
`Have you been to London?` means you went and came back. `Has he gone to London?` means he is still there.
Both are used, but `Have you ever` is more standard for life experiences. `Did you ever` is more common in American English.
We use `yet` to ask if something that we expect to happen has happened. It usually goes at the end of the sentence.
Yes, as long as you don't mention the specific time. `Have you ever seen a dinosaur fossil?` is correct.
Use a short answer: `Yes, I have` or `No, I haven't`.
Common ones include: `been` (be), `seen` (see), `done` (do), `eaten` (eat), and `gone` (go).
It refers to the past, but it is always connected to the present moment. That's why it's called 'Present' Perfect.
