Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To negate a conditional 'if' clause in Armenian, simply place the negative particle 'չ' (ch') directly before the verb.
- Use 'եթե' (ete) + negative verb: 'Եթե չգաս' (If you don't come).
- The negative particle 'չ' attaches to the verb: 'չեմ' (I am not), 'չես' (you are not).
