Using Future Simple for Predictions & Plans
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the future tense to talk about plans or predictions by adding specific suffixes to the verb root.
- Add '-ব' (bo) for first person: আমি যাব (I will go).
- Add '-বে' (be) for third person: সে যাবে (He/She will go).
- Add '-বে' (be) for second person (familiar): তুমি যাবে (You will go).
Meanings
The Future Simple tense expresses actions that will occur after the present moment, including predictions, promises, and scheduled plans.
General Future
