Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

The imperative mood is used to give commands or make requests by conjugating the verb stem based on the person.

  • For 2nd person singular (informal), use the verb stem: 'Kel' (Come).
  • For 2nd person plural (formal/polite), add '-ińiz/-yńyz': 'Kelińiz' (Please come).
  • For negative commands, add '-ma/-me/-ba/-be/-pa/-pe' before the ending: 'Kelme' (Don't come).
