The Bli-Passive Construction

Use 'bli' + past participle to focus on the action rather than the person doing it.
- Use 'bli' + past participle for dynamic passive actions: 'Huset blir malt' (The house is being painted).
- The agent (who does it) is introduced with 'av': 'Huset blir malt av meg' (The house is painted by me).
- Only transitive verbs (verbs that take an object) can be used in the bli-passive.
Meanings
The bli-passive is used to describe an action happening to a subject, where the focus is on the process or the result rather than the person performing the action.
Dynamic Passive
Describes an action in progress or a change of state.
