Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The particle 'pa' indicates that an action or state is still continuing or that something is 'yet' to happen.
- Use 'pa' to mean 'still' in affirmative sentences: 'Kumakain pa ako' (I am still eating).
- Use 'pa' to mean 'yet' in negative sentences: 'Hindi pa ako kumakain' (I haven't eaten yet).
