Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

To say you don't have something, simply replace 'имам' (I have) with 'нямам' (I don't have).

  • Use 'имам' for possession: 'Имам кола' (I have a car).
  • Use 'нямам' for lack of possession: 'Нямам кола' (I don't have a car).
  • The verb 'нямам' already includes the negative, so no extra 'не' is needed.
