The Perfectul Compus describes completed actions in the past by combining the auxiliary verb 'a avea' with the past participle.

-ar: change to -at. Example: a lucra becomes lucrat.
-ea or -e: change to -ut. Example: a vedea becomes văzut or a trece becomes trecut.
-i: change to -it. Example: a dormi becomes dormit.
-î: change to -ît. Example: a coborî becomes coborât.
a face becomes făcut and a zice becomes zis. But don't worry, even these follow a rhythm. Just remember: Helper + Participle = Success.
