Imagine you are at a crowded Delhi metro station trying to book a rapid Uber. Your old phone is struggling with the GPS. You might turn to your friend and say, "Bhai, tera तेज फोन nikaal, mera toh hang ho raha hai" (Bro, pull out your fast phone, mine is hanging). Or, think about a YouTuber unboxing the latest iPhone or Samsung; they will inevitably mention how तेज the processor is.

Speaker A: "Bhai, naya phone kaisa hai?" (Bro, how is the new phone?)

Is तेज used for people too? Yes, but it means they are 'sharp' or 'clever,' not that they run fast (for running, we use tez daudna). Does it sound old-fashioned? Not at all!
