You're basically witnessing magic
because it's that time of year again.
The second annual Crunch Labs pumpkin
carving contest where our engineers
trade toy making for pumpkin making. A
tradition I actually started back when I
worked at NASA. But this year's contest
won't be so easy because last year they
really brought the heat.
>> Great Scott Marty. Where are we?
>> I think this is Crunch Labs.
>> Ah, some kind of annual autominal event
is going on.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The toy engineer
annual pumpkin carving contest. I don't
see any toy engineers.
>> Duck, I got you.
>> Great. Scott, who's Scott?
>> We're from Back to the Future. Ask your
parents if you don't know. Trust us,
this is a cool costume. What are you
guys supposed to be? I'm liking this.
>> We are team Bibbidity Bobby Boom and we
are here to make some magic.
>> We're the pumpkin paparazzi. I hope
you're photo ready.
>> Look at this face. I'm always photo
ready.
>> We're the party people and we're just
here to have a good time.
>> That's what someone says who really
wants to win.
>> What does a winner get?
>> I haven't had a new toothbrush since
last year. That feels like an oral
hygiene to out of him. At any point
you guys can just ask me. I will give
you a toothbrush. Okay,
>> with the team names out of the way, it
was time to start carving. Pluck starts.
Not now. Now go.
>> Back again as judges. It's me and
Science Bob. And just like last year,
there's no rules except the winner is
the one that makes me feel the most,
whatever that means. The catch is the
engineers just have to finish their
pumpkins within an hour.
>> Where's this team? Even if their methods
are a little questionable,
>> what is this? You guys know magic isn't
real, right?
>> Wa wa. I stay corrected. And the Crunch
Labs toy engineers got to work fast.
>> Keep that going. It's going to take us a
half hour to cut this pumpkin.
>> I was curious what ideas they had up
their sleeves. I have a hypothesis on
what year pumpkin is.
>> No, no, no. No guesses allowed.
>> It's not a camera obscurer, is it?
>> It is not a camera obscurer.
>> Okay. I see a good planetary gear over
here. You're not supposed to be looking
at that part. Does it involve AI?
>> It did. Yes. Actually, it does involve
AI.
>> Perhaps
>> you guys vacuum form.
>> We did vacuum for him.
>> Mark, I'm still getting nightmares from
uh last year's competition.
>> You guys did a good job last year. Just
not good enough.
>> You want to drive them around?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> As usual, don't let me distract you
guys.
>> Hey, what's this foul play? What magic
