Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Add 'ਕੀ' (ki) to the very beginning of a sentence to turn a statement into a yes/no question.

  • Place 'ਕੀ' at the start: 'ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਖਾਧਾ?' (Did you eat food?)
  • No word order change: Keep the statement structure and just add 'ਕੀ' at the front.
