Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The conditional mood expresses wishes, possibilities, or polite requests by adding the particle 'by' to the past tense verb form.
- Use 'by' with past tense forms: 'Chciałbym' (I would like).
- Match gender and number: 'On zrobiłby' (He would do), 'Ona zrobiłaby' (She would do).
- Place 'by' after the verb or before it: 'Zrobiłbym' or 'Byłbym zrobił'.
