Location 'Yu'
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'Yu' (อยู่) to describe where someone or something is located in Thai.
- Use 'Yu' for physical location: 'Chan yu ban' (I am at home).
- Add 'nai' or 'bon' for specific positions: 'Maew yu bon to' (The cat is on the table).
- For questions, add 'mai' at the end: 'Khun yu nai?' (Where are you?).
Meanings
The verb 'Yu' (อยู่) indicates the physical location or existence of a person, animal, or object in a specific place.
Physical Location
To be located at a place.
