Younger Greeks almost exclusively use 'κινητό' (mobile). Using 'τηλέφωνο' can sometimes sound slightly more formal or refer specifically to a landline among Gen Z. Historically, kiosks were the only place to find a phone. While they are now mostly for snacks and magazines, older Greeks might still associate the question with looking for a kiosk.
