Nouns in Hindi have gender (masculine or feminine). 'ज़मीन' is a feminine noun.
मेरी ज़मीन बड़ी है। (My land is big.)
When 'ज़मीन' is used with postpositions like 'पर' (on) or 'में' (in), it generally maintains its form, but the postposition indicates the relationship.
ज़मीन पर बैठो। (Sit on the ground.)
Possession with 'ज़मीन' can be shown using 'की' (feminine possessive marker).
यह मेरी ज़मीन की सीमा है। (This is the boundary of my land.)
When describing 'ज़मीन' with an adjective, the adjective will also be in its feminine form.
