Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
In Armenian, use 'Ես' (Yes) for the subject (I) and 'Ինձ' (Indz) for the object (Me).
- Use 'Ես' when you are the doer: Ես սիրում եմ (I love).
- Use 'Ինձ' when the action happens to you: Նա տեսավ ինձ (He saw me).
- Use 'Ինձ' after prepositions: Ինձ համար (For me).

Meanings
This rule distinguishes between the nominative case (subject) and the dative/accusative case (object) for the first-person singular pronoun.
Subjective
Used as the subject of the sentence.

Used as the direct or indirect object.
