Polish nasal vowels ą and ę are sounds produced by letting air escape through both the mouth and nose simultaneously.
- ą sounds like 'on' or 'om' in English, as in 'mąka' (flour).
- ę at the end of a word sounds like a plain 'e', as in 'widzę' (I see).
- ę in the middle of a word sounds like 'en' or 'em', as in 'będę' (I will be).
